Klubaandfoto's inhandig

Hi, almal

Onthou asseblief om julle foto's vir Dinsdagaand se Vergadering by Eugene by CompuWorld hier in Vredenburg af te gee teen 17h00 vanmiddag (Vrydag) óf aan my te stuur by alex@weskusfotoklub.co.za. Die epos met jou foto's aangeheg moet ons asseblief teen Saterdagoggend bereik.

Ons sien uit daarna om julle foto's te ontvang en nooi elkeen om wéér na die vereistes t.o.v. die indiening van foto's hier op die Blog te gaan kyk.

Ons Klubaand is eerskomende Dinsdagaand, 14 Junie 2011 om 18h30 en soos gewoonlik by Die Waenhuis net agter die NG Kerk, Vredenburg. Behalwe dat daar tee en koffie beskikbaar is, sal Nicky Bester (mmmm! Ek dink eintlik dis Nicky se beter helfte!) sop en broodjies verskaf wat teen R10,00 per beker beskikbaar sal wees.

Ek stuur later vandag ook die Klub se Nuusbrief uit op die Blog.

Description

Members of the Photographic Society of South Africa (PSSA) as well as all photographers residing in South Africa and scholars 13 and under residing in South Africa are cordially invited to participate in this National Salon of Photography.
The Salon will be conducted within the requirements and practices as prescribed by the PSSA.

Categories

Nature - Excluding Birds and Landscapes (Digital Manipulation not allowed)

Images must be of animals, insects, reptiles or marine life in natural surroundings, so that a well informed person could testify as to its true representation. (Specifically excluded are birds, nature landscapes, artificially produced hybrid plants or animals, domesticated or farm animals, mounted specimen or obviously set arrangements)

Nature – Birds only (Digital Manipulation not allowed)

Images must be of birds in natural surroundings, so that a well informed person could testify as to its true representation. (Specifically excluded are domesticated or farm animals, mounted specimen or obviously set arrangements)

Open (Digital Manipulation allowed)

Pictorial photography is the use of the photographic medium as an art form. The emphasis is on interest, visual impact, composition, and technical excellence. Images in the Pictorial Category are not confined to any particular subject, type, or style of photography. Pictorial photography is not just about the information contained by the images, but rather about the effect and the mood they translate.
Entries in the junior category is open to all scholars, 18 and younger.  Entries will be judged in the "Pictorial" category.  

 Monochrome ( Buildings) (Digital Manipulation allowed)

 Monochrome is a black and white image. A black and white image toned in a single colour
e.g. sepia will remain a monochrome work. No second colour allowed in Monochrome.
e.g. blue (the entire image is blue) A mono  image that has a second colour added to it becomes a colour work.
